The Approach
The Bulb worked with Sleek, an award-winning experience marketing agency, to develop their approach and narrative around sustainability. Through implementing The Bulb Way model, we created a Sustainability Strategy, an action-based plan to implement into the organisation operations and project delivery, as well as a carbon footprint baseline measurement.
The Impact
- Conducted a Materiality Assessment, a thorough deep-dive into what matters in the marketplace Sleek operates in.
- Calculated the organisation’s 2023 carbon footprint and set a baseline from which environmental goals were set to put the team on the right path to meet their 2040 Net Zero goal.
- Produced a sustainability strategy with ambitious 2030 goals across three pillars: People, Planet and Partners.
- Implemented a carbon calculator software, TRACE, into the company’s operations processes and supported with project reporting.
- Provided 1:1 support to in-house Supplier and Sustainability Lead.
- Attended the company ‘away day’ to deliver an inspirational session on sustainability to engage and empower the teams.
- Delivered two workshops launching the strategy and providing a baseline knowledge of sustainability.
